1) 教室で、先生が話しています。( Kyou・shitsu de , sensei ga hanashiteimasu .)

Teacher is talking inside the classroom .

教室 - きょう・しつ - kyou・shitsu - classroom

で - de - indicates location of action ; at ; in

話しています(from 話す) - hanashiteimasu - talking

2) 学生は、机の上に何を置きますか? (Gakusei wa , tsukue no ue ni nani wo okimasuka ?)

What will student put on the desk ?

机 - つくえ - tsukue - desk

上 - うえ - ue - top

机の上に - つくえのうえに - tsukue no ue ni - on the desk

何 - なに - nani - what

置きます(from 置く) - okimasuka - (will) put

3) M: 今からテストをします。(Ima kara tesuto wo shimasu .)

I will take a test right now .

今 - いま - ima - now

から - kara - from

今から - ima kara - right now

テスト - tesuto - test

します - (from する) - shimasu - (will) do

4) このテストでは、辞書を使う問題がありますから、机の上に辞書を出してください。(Kono tesuto de wa , jisyo wo tsukau mondai ga arimsu kara , tsukue no ue ni jisyo wo dashite kudasai .)

In this test , there is a problem you need to use the dictionary , so please take out your dictionary on the desk.

この - kono - this ( somthing close to speaker )

辞書 - じしょ - jisyo - dictionary

使う - つかう - tsukau - to use

辞書を使う - jisyo wo tsukau - use the dictionary

問題 - もんだい - mondai - question (on a test) ; questions in exam or quiz, etc. - вопрос теста ; вопрос на экзамене или викторине и т.д.

机 - つくえ - tsukue - desk 

出してください (from 出す) - dashite kudasai - please take out

5) 鉛筆と消しゴムも出してください。(Enpitsu to keshigomu dashite kudasai .)

Please take out the pencil and the eraser too .

鉛筆 - えんぴつ - enpitsu - pencil

消しゴム - keshigomu - eraser

出してください(from 出す) - dashite kudasai - please take out

6) 時計は、かばんの中に入れてください。(Tokei wa , kaban no naka ni irete kudasai .)

Please put the watch inside of the bag .

時計 - とけい - tokei watch ; clock - часы

かばん - kaban  - bag 

かばんの中に - inside of the bag

入れてください(from 入れる) - irete kudasai - please put in

7) F: 先生、ノートはどうしますか？(Sesei , nooto wa dou shimasu ka ?)

Teacher , what about notebook ?

ノート - nooto - exercise book

どう - dou - what about

します ( from する) - (will) do

8) M: ノートもかばんの中に入れてください。(Nooto mo kaban no naka ni irete kudasai .)　

Please put your notebook inside the bag too .

学生は、机の上に何を置きますか? (Gakusei wa , tsukue no ue ni nani wo okimasuka ?)

What will student put on the desk ?
