Kanji Stroke Order Rules 

In this post as examples I used only the Kanji that I can read , write and understand (・^-^・)

1) Top To Bottom , Left To Right


二 , 三 , 十

2) Horizontal stroke goes first BEFORE vertical one


(れい) 五、七、十、土、古







3) Center vertical stroke goes before symmetrical outside strokes


(れい) 木、本、水、小


4) Box consist from 3 strokes


5) Three sides of enclosure first , then do everything inside and finish with horizontal stroke from left to right


(れい) 回、四、目、国






The same rule works for other type enclosure , even ones that don`t close from the bottom .
 
(れい) 同、何、用、月、円、周








6) Inside first , bottom enclosure second


(れい) 週、近、道、画




7) Right-To-Left ← Diagonal Strokes First , then Left-To-Right → Diagonals ones


(れい) 父、校、千、手、乗、菜、作、楽








8) Stroke That Cross Through A Lot Of Other Strokes Go Last


9) Dots/Dashes

9.1) Dots/Dashes Are Saved For The End


(れい) 犬、村、国



9.2) When the dot at the very top , the dot go first .


(れい) 六、立、高、安、方、夜、白、自、良
