How to make TE-form Adjectives

In this post I will make TE-form and DE-form adjectives from all Japanese I-adjectives and NA-adjectives that I know （*^_^*） 

How to make TE-form adjectives from I-adjectives ?

い-adjectives :

「い」 → 「くて」

1) 新しい → 新しくて - new
古い → 古くて - old

2) 美味しい → 美味しくて - tasty
不味い （まずい）→ 不味くて  - bad taste

3) 甘い → 甘くて - sweet
苦い （にがい） → 苦くて - bitter

4) 明るい → 明るくて - bright
暗い → 暗くて - dark

5) 長い → 長くて - long
短い → 短くて - short

6) 大きい → 大きくて - big
小さい → 小さくて - small

7) 多い → 多くて - many
少ない （すくない） → 少なくて - few

8) 広い → 広くて - wide
狭い （せまい）→ 狭くて - narrow

9) 遠い （とおい） → 遠くて - far
近い → 近くて - close

10) 寒い （さむい） → 寒くて - hot
暑い （あつい） → 暑くて- cold
冷たい （つめたい） → 冷たくて - cold to the touch

11) 涼しい （すずしい） → 涼しくて - cool
あたたかい → あたたかくて - warm

12) 白い → 白くて - white
黒い → 黒くて - black

13) 楽しい → 楽しくて - fun
つまらない → つまらなくて - boring

14) 赤い → 赤くて - red
青い → 青くて - blue

15) 固い （かたい） → 固くて - hard
やわらかい → やわらくて- soft

16) 高い （たかい） → 高くて - expensive
安い （やすい） → 安くて - cheap

17) 軽い (かるい) → 軽くて - light
重い (おもい) → 重くて - heavy

18) 厚い （あつい） → 厚くて - thick
太い （ふとい） → 太くて- fat

19) 可愛い （かわいい） → 可愛くて - cute
怖い （こわい） → 怖くて - scary

How to make DE-form adjectives from NA-adjectives ?

な-adjectives

+ 「で」

1) 元気 → 元気で - energetic
2) きれい → きれいで - beautiful ; clean
3) しずか → しずかで - quite
4) 簡単 （かんたん）→ 簡単で - simple
5) 立派（りっぱ） → 立派で - splendid
6) すてき → すてきで - great

If you want to modify a noun using two adjectives, change the first adjective to the TE-form if this is I-adjective and to the DE-form if this is NA-adjective .
